Care Manager

Tweedbank – Scottish Borders

Given the growth of the business we are now seeking to recruit a Care Manager to play a key role in supporting our Director of Care with management related tasks such as staff supervisions and appraisals, undertaking client reviews and referrals, as well as providing respite support to our Clients. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Manager, committed to the delivery of person-centred care and support, quality assurance and continuous improvement. 

 

You must have a relevant practice and supervisory qualification enabling your registration as a Supervisor in a Care at Home Service with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or be willing to achieve this within regulatory timescales or hold current Registration with the NMC.   Our service is provided 24/7 361 days per year so flexibility in terms of availability and ability to travel is essential. Hours of work for this post are a minimum of 10 up to a maximum of 25 hours per week and you will also be required to participate in the on-call rota.

 

A current driving license and use of car which is insured for business purposes is required.

 

This post involves regulated work with protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. As such the preferred candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update check prior to the confirmation of any offer.

Respite Worker

We are looking for a reliable and committed Respite Worker to join our team of experienced staff in providing high quality person centred independent social support to adults and older people and give short-term relief for caregivers. 

 

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide care and support so enabling our Clients to feel valued and respected as individuals. Previous experience of working with people in a care or support role is necessary for this role.

 

You must have a relevant qualification enabling your registration as a Support Worker in a Care at Home Service with the Scottish Social Services Council or be willing to achieve this within regulatory timescales.
